Supercharged DCs Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 Hey all! I feel like trying my hand on a custom ported box for my DD 3515f. Was looking on the DD site for enclosure recommendations, and they only have the compact recommended enclosure for the 3515. These are the specs: 2) 24” x 19” top and bottom 2) 24” x 15” baffle and rear wall (baffle panel has a 14” diameter hole centered 8.5” from the side) 1) 15” x 14.75” side wall (port side) 1) 15” x 17.5” side wall (non-port side) 1) 15” x 19.75” port length board The max dimensions I have are 21" Deep, 22" High, and 53" Wide. I can remove paneling to get about an extra inch or two from the depth and width, and this will be going into a 2000 Dodge Dakota Club Cab... Do you guys have any better recommendations for my space. Im looking for the sub to sound good, but I want it to be loud. Will be running off of probably 750~ RMS for the time being, then getting an AQ 1200. Thanks everyone Bassless once again.
