4 level 3 12s on a AQ3500.1

Recommended Posts

I want more than the normal 1 or 2 sub set up. I keep wanting to do 4 subs some way but how do you think 4 lvl3 12s on 1 AQ3500.1 @ 1ohm would sound? Too much power? Can the subs take it daily?

Set your gains right and they will probably handle another 3-400w a piece no sweat at all. Assuming that you build a proper box and install things right, it should sound pretty damn good. DC subs love extra power :)

they can handle it..without a doubt..an m2a at .5 barely got mine moving.

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

Cool I might do that. Im just throwing up ideas to get the most bass for the least money without getting cheap crap lol. I was gonna do 1 level 5 18", or 2 XL 15s but I want more than 1 or 2 subs I've done that my whole life. So I was trying to see how I could get 4 without going broke on amps and electrical

Yeah I do/did, pretty sure it's died down now, just waiting on the finalizing of getting my estimate for the broken back hatch.
