lgnmgr Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 i ripped out all the plastic and stuff now all i have is a bare trunk but it seems to have a slight leak or condensation issue. im definitely going to be using sound deadening mats for the whole thing but i was wondering if that will be enough and if it would be a good idea to seal the trunk prior to putting the mats down?

T_Clark Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 If u have a sunroof it's the front draing tubes they need to be cleaned out(they run down the a frames) I had the same problem with mine.

They should be running out of the side of the car close to the bottom of the rear quarters. lgnmgr Posted March 25, 2011 Author Report Posted March 25, 2011 No sun roof. seems to be a build up of condensation. it's really confusing cuz i dont actually see the moisture coming from a particular spot. would the sound damping material be enough to seal the trunk?

Best test to do would be having another person there spraying a hose over the trunk while you sit in the trunk to find where the leak is coming from.
