  1. I had a Better Audio 1600M aka 35.1 imposter. Ended up smoking it and moving on to Sundown and have never looked back.
  2. Try driving around with your headlights on and see if the voltage stays up when your idling at a stoplight. If this fixes the issue then its the "electric load detector" doing its job by turning off the alternator to save gas when no high load is detected. I have a 1997 accord that I compete out of and I had the same issues; I thought my alt was junking out but realized hondas are just gay
  3. Hello I was wondering if you had anything for a 2007 Honda Civic SI this is the one that has the 2.0 engine and I noticed you only had 1.8's on the website.

  5. I use the spax screws which are sposed to be no pre-drill but I prefer to predrill anyways because MDF is so easy to split.
  6. First find your internal volume http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#rec Then you can calculate your portarea/length using this calculator http://www.psp-inc.com/tools.html
  7. btw I was the guy who originally told you that you could strap a new and old SAZ-1500d on caraudio.com my name was dumpintreos
  8. They look very similar but I would get the final say from someone who knows his stuff DB-R or jacob
  9. No I am not. But back when I e-mailed him I had an old heatsink model and I was looking for more power. So you say the "guts" are different what exactly is different I know DB-R helped jacob make some improvements/tweaks on the amp throughout the years. I think I remember MOSFET holddowns/soldering practices were changed? But contacting Jacob would get your best possible answer.
  10. This is an e-mail I got from jacob but you might want to talk to him and see if there was another revision of the amp lately. >> On Wed, 19 Nov 2008 08:38:03 -0600 Jacob Fuller >> <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>> Jeremy, >>> >>>.....................- but you can strap a > >>> new and >>> old amp together no problem.

  13. Its a High output alternator kit by teamshadowspl in Canada for a Honda Prelude/Accord setup so grooves are prob for alignment purposes. Can't find anymore pics out there thanks for looking though
  14. Well unfortunately thats the best and only pictures I have. Basically i'm wondering what kind of car I can pull it off of or order from oreillys.
  15. Can anyone identify the clocking and ear style of this CS130D?

  17. I've been wanting to buy a Mechman alternator for a while now but after a lil research from a few owners belt wrap is not very good on our Honda Accords. I was wondering if you were willing to fabricate idler pulleys for our cars so that we know that we are getting as much grip as possible from our 6 rib belts.
  18. A cheap way to load test a battery is to start your car with each battery individually. My kinetik 2400 was reading 12.9 but anytime a load was put on it the voltage shot down like no tomorrow. Found out that it was a broken internal negative post and no battery shops around me or kinetik wouldn't fix it so I molded my own post outta solder

  20. I got a question you guys were building an accord wagon around his generation. Did you do anything special to compensate for the "Bogus belt setup"?(Idle pulley) I thought a 6 rib setup would've been able to handle to 250a load
  21. Just in case the oreillys guys give you trouble this is how you shop for a smaller gates belt This is the stock part # for alt+ac belt K060439 K06 stands for 6 rib belt the 439 stand for 43.9 inch belt
