Is it possible to buy the external regulator for this alt? And if so how much and what part #. Also is there anything else I will need to put it on my specific car? Thank you. MECHMAN Posted April 7, 2011 Report Share Posted April 7, 2011 In order to install an external regulator, you would have to send it back in to be modified internally. We charge $150 for the 91102R external regulator, harness, and labor to modify the alt.
