Nyaim Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 sup guys, i got a 2006 Nissan sunny and the door of my trunk rattle really bad!! i can even hear it over my 4 6x9's!! was wondering if it would help if i put dynamat on the door only since its all that is rattling... or would that affect other areas... Second Skin Rep Jon Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Applying any sort of vibration mat on your doors will help with the rattling. Control the vibrations, eliminate the rattles. You may also need to isolate your door's trim panel with a layer of thin foam or other type of product to prevent it from rattling against the sheet metal. I don't know how many times I've applied sound deadening to doors or other areas of the vehicle only to realize that the plastic trim is vibrating like crazy. So I toss some foam on the backside of the trim, no more rattles. Later, Have a question about Second Skin? E-Mail me!
