We had some troubles with the fuel pump and fuel tank

But managed to pick up another one, put it all in yesterday.

Then we had some issues wiring up the new car [we converted from a carby B6 to EFI BP]

But managed to get it started at about 1am this morning.

I also started on the A Pillars.

Now we just need to put in batteries

Make busbars

Put the box in

Fibreglass the box

Make our steel baffles

Install it all

Wire everything up

Finish front stage and wrap it all

Get alternator and make a bracket for it and get it in the car

And then run all of our alternator runs to the back

I think thats all :/

All by our debut date of the 22nd of this month

Are you in Australia?

We got it from our local fibreglass trade place, it was a lot cheaper buying it in bulk like that from them then from the hardware place.

Hopefully we get it all built and running soon

Bunnings do sell everything you need, we went to a trade centre and picked it all up a lot cheaper, but we did buy a heap in bulk.

I think it is about $30-$40 for a kit at bunnings that will do about 1sqm of fibreglass

And yeah, we are hoping to have it ready for the next comp in Victoria, we are in SA and are travelling over for it :S

Im in Sydney, and nah im not on MEA been on there a few times just never registered

and do you think that 1sqm would be able to do 2 doors ? and are you ever going to travel to NSW, i would love to hear this thing

Okay, we are going to try and get over for a few comps, we do hope to do the local circuit once it is up and running..

bunnings is on the expensive side of fiberglassing supplies, if you can search for a fiberglass/molding supplies place near you, they are a lot cheaper and most of the time will be able to answer any questions you have and give you tips

also, i hate efi, stupid wiring not making any sence and car not running for no apparent reason ... so much work to do

At the moment theres a slight timing belt rubbing issue, not sure why?. Its rubbing on the engine side of the cover, as far as I know these are non interferance engines so atleast if somthing bad happens we are less likely to destroy it haha.

hmmmm the sound of power its a pity you wont hear the engine with the stereo on huh

also since its getting closer in reality will you make the 22nd comp with a full powre setup if not i say wait till the next one and get it all running and maybe get dougees car or the focus or sumthing running sweet for the next comps on the 22nd i think maybe do sum teaser shots of the car running with stereo in video soon too id rather you guys debut at full tit than half power then you know where you have to retune etc if you do like 160 at half power then you have no idea where you need to ge for the extra splz

well talk before the end of the week i may have to see if i can make sum magic happen with sumt things so you can make it in time
