if you wet sand it after you paint it it will blend better..... but becarful not to go thru the clear coat

i was actually going to ask what grit i should use to sand the paint off and the rust off, as well as ask if i wanted to wet sand after, what grit should i use then

so this is what i need to get, correct?

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Rust-Oleum-Paint-8-Ounce-Spray/2002-Pontiac-Grand-Am/_/N-jhr4aZ8ik0o?counter=3&filterByKeyWord=paint&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=70790_0_0_31489

or this

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Victory-Red-Duplicolor_99985046-P_N3278D_T|GRP2050_____

which one would be best for me? also, the duplicolor one is the only one that appears to be in stock in my general area, it says item not available in stock or for shipping at autozone

also need to get the proper sand paper, which hopefully i can find that out soon whats best to use

anything else i'll need?
