Recommended Posts

How much power do you have?

i have enough power to push both subs as of amps (2 pa bamf 5500) just need to uprade my alt

holy shit lets fail some more..

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

@ram o ok i understand i listen mostly to rap and r&b... i thought the bigger the box the more lows you"ll get out of it.... but you would put two btl"s in a 6cft box?

I don't believe you have the room to do 8ft^3 + displacements anyways. Add in a double baffle and you're easily looking at 11ft^3+.

Connect your stock radio, and play some tunes full blast. Then connect your aftermarket one, and repeat. Notice how the stock one sounds like shit? Going to be the same with those sub amps. Get the cheap ass one, your woofers will sound muffled and will more than likely clip 10x faster than if you had, say an AQ, DC, Sundown, etc amp.

yea i know just gotta save up but i had one pa amp on one of my 15" btls and it pushed it pretty good

6 cubes net, tune to around 34hz (or anywhere from 30-36Hz) with 100-120 square inches of port. that's probably roughly what you'd be happy with.

And just get some decent amps, those Power Acoustiks are a waste of money.

lol ok i will do man
