RooTxBeeR
If the width of my port is 3", when I bend the port for either side, that means it moves down to 1.5" for each side right? Also, with wood thickness taken into account, my side height on the box will be 15.5", same as the inside. So when I bend the port, how far should I put it down until I bend it. I have 24" port length so I was going to put it down 14" then bend it into a 1.5" wide port, with the rest being 10" does this sound correct? And here is a little drawing if my writing is a bit confusing. zayres29
you can do it like that but its probably better (and easier) to just have the bend go 90 angle instead of 180 Quote Btw that was the first person. RooTxBeeR
The way I am going to design my box, Have the bottom and put sides on, then top, will be easier this way. I just wanted to make sure this was the correct thing when it says port bends. RooTxBeeR
I don't see why it wouldn't have any negative effect on sound or performence that if it where the other way. I will be starting it soon and doing a log of it, Also starting a topic for my car build along with it.
