ShooterK2
What tweaks did you try kevin?? you raised that score A LOT!!!! What amplifier did you order??? i see a 55 without ANY problems Well, we are still learning about the car...........for a long time I would leave both doors shut and just roll drivers window down when we burped it. But, after strapping the amps, we were trying different things, and figured out that it actually likes both windows up, but the driver's door open about 8 - 10 inches. This is totally legal in the two organizations we compete in (USACI and MidwestSPL). We also can lean on the passenger window from the outside and gain a tenth. There is also a certain way to fix the seats, and the visors......... There is no substitute for having your own meter. Without it, we would never be able to figure all this out. ShooterK2
We got an AQ2200 to try out. Threw it in last night and burped a 152 several times. Also got a clamp meter, so I was able to determine that we were doing 1765 watts at 1.4 ohms. Yes, it is a drop in power and SPL from the APs, but we will add another one of these soon. Then we will see how it does with them both strapped at .5 ohm.

Kevin, can you push the windshield or anything???? this is the one thing that raises my score the most on both cars i use, my swift raised 0.6 dbs competing at Costa Rica last month, also, my friend´s nissan sentra raised 0.4 dbs by doing that on the same comp, people´s faces were funny hehe, here is a pic: I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. ShooterK2
Thanks for mentioning that, Fecupe, but we tried it and, for some reason, it does nothing for us. Weird thing it that that area flexes like crazy! But he can crawl all over the windshield/top, whatever, and it doesn't change the score at all. The passenger window only gains .1 db, and that's it. Until the car tell us more of it's secrets....... :-)

ShooterK2
And another thing, there is not a bit of sound deadner in this car, except the very small amount that came from the factory 20 years ago. That may be something we try later on as well.
