We will end up with a pair of AQ2200s strapped at 2 ohms for daily listening, which will be just about on par with what you guys are saying. We'll strap them at .5 for burps. We only have one run of cheap 1/0 now, and we have two cheap walmart batteries in the back, in addition to the stock cheap battery up front. New goal is 155 on the dash......... ShooterK2 Posted July 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2011 Rebuild time. We feel as though we have hit the maximum of what this box can do, so we tore it out. Gonna play around with some small builds (so we can compete in the Basic classes in MidwestSPL). The wall was definitely fun, and I'm sure we will build another one in the future, but for now we have a couple of AQ HDC3 12's in a small box behind the back seat (yeah, we kept the back seat and stuff so we could put it all back in....), and are having fun getting it loud. We will probably post a new thread about this build, if it amounts to anything. Big thanks to Fecupe, and everyone else that gave advice/criticism on this wall build. fecupe2001 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Share Posted July 18, 2011 Very nice man, it´s always fun trying new things, you guys got that wall so fucking loud with very small power, glad myself and the other guys could help you out a little bit, thanks for the shout out By the way, i´m playing with a VERY efficient box in the explorer right now, it´s for a pair of DD 2512´s , i tried a couple of DD 3512´s on that same box and got even louder, of course it´s a totally different car and application from yours, but remember that those HDC3´s are very similar subs to the DD 3512´s , if you want some kind of input just let me know, i´m very close to 147 @ 42 hz with only 1200 watts and box is no way near to be finished GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR NEW PROJECT!!! We can play in any of the three Basic classes: Basic 1 = 500 watts max clamped, Basic 2 = 1000 watts max clamped, or Basic 3 = 2000 watts max clamped. So efficiency is KEY here!!
