brad_gaddis Posted April 6, 2011 Author Report Posted April 6, 2011 Maybe. The Acoustik is a 4000watt and my Fosgate is a 1000watt. Im not getting rid of the RF just thinking if I should get the Acoustik repaired. Quote
Rebel4055 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 That power acoustik doesn't even come close to the power of that fosgate. Quote Rest In Peace mother. January 22, 1955 - February 14, 2013 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/user/35351-megrch/
bumonskateboard6 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) Don't waste your time wit power acoustik....especially if you have rockford already. I'd be willing to bet your RF puts out more power than the power acoustik. If you tell us how much fusing that is on the supposed 4000 watt amp we will tell you how much power it really puts out. (ball park figure) LOL if that amp has 400 amps worth of fusing built in then it could possibly put out 4000 watts but any less than that and we know it can't. Again amps that produce that kind of power DO NOT come with built in fuses. Quote Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.
