str86diesel
I'm definately not a tranny tech, but I've done tons of work on my own vehicles Honestly price depends on what is wrong with the tranny. You'll save money by doing a rebuild, pending on parts availability you'll be spending about $1500+. Keep in mind though that most of the cost of rebuilding a tranny is due to the labor of pulling and re-installing the tranny. So if you can take the core down to the shop, you will save. dwright27
well i got some good news. the truck is at the tranny shop now. has been for a week or two. not sure what the total cost is yet but im sure its gonna be pretty high. i think i get my lisence back in January. and i gotta pay another $600 worth of fees to get those back. this is totaled to around $5 grand over the past 2 years. terrible. but im still gonna see whats up with the drop and the wall being put back in when i get it back. updates when i get the truck and pictures and stuff too.
