sa-8 recone. options?

So, I had an sa-8 donated to me by a good friend of mine. All he said was "it quit working. You want it?" Well, of course! Anyways, I pulled it apart. Turns out, coil was minty fresh. Tinsel leads were burnt through. Its already apart now tho so its recone time. Is there anydthing I can do to upgrade with the recone? The cooling slavers for the basket? Better coil? Better spider? Leads? I'm planning on building a box tuned more for numbers, Just for fun. Never had a chance to play with spl much. Lol!

We really don't have anything optional aside from progressive updates made to them... we use a different spider with larger leads compared to original and also tooled a new surround that is wider and taller.

I am out right now but I had some SPL coils too -- which lose too much low-end for me to suggest for daily.
