Last year, we put in a single 12 inch Quantum subwoofer in a ported enclosure with an Autotek 1500 watt (prob overrated) amplifier. I do not know the enclosure dimensions off hand. Needless to say, it's time for an upgrade. We tested two Ascendant Audio Assassins (12 inch) in a dual enclosure and it sounded very loud, like what my friend is looking for. Will it be effective to get another single ported enclosure and throw a sub in there (resulting in 2 single, ported enclosures), or will it be more effective to get a dual enclosure and use that? Plus it takes up less space because of less walls and a common port. The subs have to be matching however.
