TeamHT Posted April 12, 2011 Report Share Posted April 12, 2011 I think just because the BTL can handle an AQ3500 in the hands of someone experienced, does not mean people should be offering it. also considering since enclosure is going to be a huge deciding factor. the newer N2s have a little less motor force for musical, daily applications and honestly think its not needed to run 4000+. I ran an RF T4000 per BTL so ive done it, but its not really good just throwing more than double the RMS out there to someone inexperienced. OP, someone suggesting an AQ3500 does not mean 2200RMS watts is not enough, an AQ2200 will be MORE than enough to bring your BTL to life. if youre seriously wanting to throw an AQ3500 at something, get an AA Mayhem. notwithstanding even the AQ2200 is going to require some upgrades to the electrical, and moreso with the AQ3500. you could easily spend just as much or more on electrical upgrades than you did on the amp.
