Ok so I have a sealed box that housed 2 15s... it is 2.5 cubic feet per woofer before woofer displacement ... minimum specs for each woofer is 1.8 cubes ... anyone know if inverting the woofer would allow for more box volume? also, does anyone know if the Fi x series woofers can be mounted inverted?

hopeful noob

Inverting the woofer would increase box volume and potentially increase output. Any subwoofer can be inverted.

Every sub can be inverted, and of course it would give you volume, how much depends on size of woofer's motor and basket.

Looks like you need to step your game up. Try some reaction-time drills.

Inverting two 15's will gain you around .3 cubic feet.

And every car is different. So some ways are louder. Have you actually had each way metered? Because the "ear meter" often fails you.
