mousemonster1232
I am taking out back seat to put a box in. The only thing is the back is at a slant like 115 degrees so how do I make a box that is strong enough? Like enough structural integrity. Usually a box would join at 90* so this is a little bit different. Any suggestions? Can post pictures of anyone thinks it js necessary. speedball1978
cut angles on the wood where the 2 pieces would join mine is the same way and i've built a steel frame first then layed out my wall easy work
mousemonster1232
Okay and that would be strong enough with the wood thinning out near the joint caused by the angle? Thanks for quick response.
speedball1978
i didn't have to worry about the wood thinning out, i screwed the mdf to the steel frame, then then joints on the mdf got fiberglassed and resinned Edited April 13, 2011 by speedball1978

skittlesRgood
if you cut angles you actually have more surface area for the wood glue to hold it together. but since you are worried about strength, i suggest you build a small box and then try to break it apart. you should find that its not as fragile as you think.
