ufwzydesigns Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 hooked up a bass processor to my amp and it keeps shutting off so unhooked it and its fine so i wired the subs down to 1 ohm and it happened again but why would me hooking a bass processor up make the amp kick off with the subs wired to 4 ohms Ufwzy Designs

I can only think perhaps its clipping the amp into protection... or the processor is faulty. Does it go into protection?
