using a batcap instead of a battery

so the battery in my car is shot and im wondering if something like this

could be used as my cars battery plan to get 2 upfront vs a normal battery to be used to start my car as well as feed my amp. wondering if i would have any problems with something like that in the winter or if its even a good idea to use that as my main battery.

my teacher used 2 of the 600s as primary batteries for a big dodge truck iirc. so 2 should be able to handle the daily loads a car has

I would highly recommend a single larger battery. Go for a HC2000, its about the same price and will perform better.

that wont fit in my car im thinking about going with there 1400 thatll fit and is more power then the redtop i was looking at and there a little cheaper of about the same price ill have to double check. but its prefectly fine to use a power cell like that instead of a normal car battery inplace of my stock one?

you can use a dry cell as a starting battery. but you should get a decent size up front. you could use 2 600s. but a 1400 would be better. if you can fit it that is. i know xs is really good at helping ppl figure out what battery could fit the stock location.

im pretty sure i can fit the 1400 i may need to mod up a tray but thats ok. how do powercells like that hold up in the winter though do they hold there charge in the cold like a normal battery would.

Yes it is perfectly fine, but not two smaller ones. Just get the biggest you can fit up there and add another later.
