Help with competing please :D

Recommended Posts

Well, neither MECA or dBdrag have events down in Louisiana (that I could find) so I guess I'm looking to get into Usaci. My question is what classing would I best be suited to when I'm using 1 DD3515, 1 AQ2200, and 1 XS D3400 in my Dodge Dakota...

Thanks for any help, I'm a newb I know! :D

Box will be under the window line, no mods done whatsoever( besides replacing door speakers). I have stock center console, pillars, and the like. Would the Big 3 count as a mod? Only info on amp is that it's rated for 500w at 4ohm on 12v.

Few questions about Stock 0-600

1) By window line, it means back window, right? Not side windows.

2) Would adding kick panels to the doors to house component speakers not allow me to compete in 0-600 stock?

3) Would adding custom console to house midbass 6.5 not allow me to compete in 0-600 stock?

Thanks :D

If I decide to compete, I plan to build interchangable slot ports, one for daily with a lower tuning and one for comps.

1. In a truck it uses the back window line

2. the kick panels are aloud,

3. the main rule i know of on this is your cant have a speaker larger than 8 inches (or maybe 10) in front of the B pillar, but i dont think a modified console is aloud, but i honestly wouldnt worry about having an extra set of speakers in your console, just let the doors or kick panels do thing.
