bdubii
This is my 07 Tacoma that I recently walled off. I had another build thread on here before with a fiberglass box I was doing for 4 12's but that box didn't work out. I've always wanted to wall something so I decided to go ahead and do it now. The box is 12.02ft^3 after displacement and tuned to 35hz. The port is on the smaller side, about 110.25in^2. I have the stock battery, and stock alt. The amp I'm running is a hitron rated at 1200 rms @2ohm lol. The subs are boss somethings, dual 4's. Big three is done with 1/0 Tsunami, 4 gauge going to amp, Tsunami rca's and 10 gauge speaker wire. I wired it all up series/parallel. bdubii
There is still room for the factory jack under the box behind the trim panel The box is bolted to the 4 mounting points for the rear seat belts. I used all-thread and several nuts and washers to do this. bdubii
I mounted the amp under the driver side seat and soldered and heat shrunk all the connections besides rca, and remote. And yes, those are zip ties holding the amp to the carpet haha And here is the truck. Lowered 3/4 on Devino Flawless 22's I plan to upgrade the equipment once I can afford it. I would love to have Psi subs (the platform 2 motors) and possibly 2 sundown 4500's with a zed audio 4 channel for the mids and highs. I'm not sure what I would like to have for the mid/highs speakers but I'm thinking cadence. Also it would be great if I were nominated for SOTM. I need an alt bad! Thanks for looking and give me some feedback please! iKidwell
the wall looks so good...save money and get some xs power and some dc amps and subs... why make such a nice ass setup with such bad equipment c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
