Do what u can with the money you have, but instead of buying mediocre equipment, save ur money, learn from everyone on the site and get a good setup once u have the coin. Like the initiative ur taking though, gotta start somewhere :)

Yesssir, i think the cheapest thing in these new setup is gonna be those boss 5x7's and in my opinion i dont think i would be able to hear/care about a difference in sound between $30 and like some alpine's that are much more..

All i need is a distribution block and some more ground wire and we should be bumpin with a budget!

just about done with the system. building a console next it will house (2) 5x7's a few switches and my volt meter! :drinks:

everything's looking good but i have a suggestion for your power wire going to your amp- shorten the length between the fuse to the amp you can get rid of a foot or so of wire there

all this wire was from a different setup in the back of the van. so now thats its moved up font ive got extra wire. but i think ill keep it that way in case i want to go back. thanks though!
