dleccord
okay so that would be .75 x 3 = 2.25" .... now if my port is 9 inches wide, do i divide that by 2 and add that to the port length of 2.25 as end factor? Charger
So it peaks below the port's tuning frequency? Good luck with that. dleccord
So it peaks below the port's tuning frequency? Good luck with that. yes it peaks below port frequency. how many cubes is the box? and what is the port width and height? i made the box with two baffles insteead, which has an internal space of 6.1 cubes before sub displacement, which is about .5 cubes. the port area was 17.5 x 8.5 and 1.5 deep from the two baffles. from winISD, my tuning "should" be around 77hz, peaking about 5hz higher than tuning frequency = low 80s, but i peaked at 53.
