Sinosic
i just bought this amp from someone on craigslist and it makes a high pitch ring. it comes from the amp its self. it not alt whine. i took the amp apart and the sound is coming from the power supply. on ampguts i found a very simualiar amp, but it had a lot of wax looking stuff on the power supply. mine the power supply is not coated with anything. could this be my problem if so how can if fix it? my amp has no stuff on the power supply, the one in the picture does. why [email protected]
*1LOWSUV*
I had that problem when I first got one of my T3000's. Never took it apart as the sound eventually went away. [email protected]
E a r t h
Make sure the power supply coil isn't touching the bottom amp plate causing interference. That is a common problem and I would check that first
Sinosic
i put a bunch of epoxy on the coil and it seems to have fixed the problem. [email protected]

E a r t h
I have amps without it aswell and no problems. I believe different manufactures use other methods for noise rejection
