akrja_07 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 So I snapped the leads on BOTH my subs, I'm guessing at the same time. Looks like solder should do it but I am going to leave them alone until I feel confident in doing the repair. When I hook the DMM directly to the snapped lead I get a good reading so I assume they should be ok with some repair. Looking for input from you guys. Should I attempt to solder? Is there a specific type of solder to use? ALSO WONDERING WHY THE HELL THIS HAPPENED!!! killallblue Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 not setting amps right playing below tuning Quote
akrja_07 Posted April 29, 2011 Author Report Posted April 29, 2011 not setting amps right playing below tuning Nah, I set the amp right, if it's off it's not off by much. I used DMM to set amp which I know isn't the preferred method but like I said, shouldn't be THAT off! And I'm tuned way low, like 28-29 Hz. so... Maybe above tuning? Happened playing Gucci, 30 years slowed...
