I pretty much now the explanation and/or theory behind Balanced and Unbalanced signal paths as it's referred to car audio. I have an Audiopipe EQ 4x that has an option for balanced output to other sources. I also have an Audiopipe amp for my subs and one for my mids/highs. The Eq manual states that @Unbalanced mode the equalizer puts out 4v and in Balanced mode it puts out close to 13v. All this can be done with a jumper bar inside the EQ. So my question is will the Balanced mode hurt both amplifiers? Currently every thing is in unbalanced mode until I get more knowledgeable info..
