Positive from battery under hood to positive on HC200 fused @ 300a Negative from HC200 to chasis in the rear of vehicle Negative from amp to negative on HC2000 Positive from HC200 to amp fused @ 200a I know it's better to run the ground all the way to the battery but I am broke broke broke for the next 8 days or so... zgold Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 hi im new at this i am looking to put speakers in my car it has an alternator that puts out 85amps and 12v i did the math and found that that is 1020 watts however this is not factoring in the battery in my car the speaker im looking to drop in are about 1660 watt is it possible to put theses in my car i rlly need help!
