TeamHT Posted May 6, 2011 Report Share Posted May 6, 2011 You could easily look on the FI website and enter in any options available to get a ballpark figure of what it should cost. The BTLs are beasts and can handle much more than they're conservatively rated. THAT BEING SAID. If you don't have the knowledge to know when you're driving a woofer past its mechanical limits, or whether or not the enclosure will allow enough motor control, you probably should stay as close as possible to manufacturer recommendations. Those BTLs could take 2,500 easy but you should just be completely aware of what you're getting into. Also, clean signal as much as possible. Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
