Relyks
ok if i have a box and it is about 2.00 cu.ft roughly and to tune it to 35 hz i need 12inches of port could i have 2 6" long ports on each side of the box for example my port now is behind the driver seat on top of the box and it is 16" long and my sub is in the middle of the box what if i put a 8" port on top on both sides of the box. what will happen? so there is about 10-12inches on each side from the side to the sub Quote --> My Toyota Build Link / AudioQue Build . <-- Latest Update 1/16/

TheyDontWantMusic
if you have 2 ports, each of the same area as a single port, they need to be twice the length each, not half the length. any box calculator will tell you this.

TheyDontWantMusic
yes you can have ports on different sides of the box, it will effect the output somewhat, but probably not enough to notice. I still don't know what you're talking about "i need 12inches of port could i have 2 6" long ports on each side of the box" if you're saying you need a 12inch LONG port, then no, you can't use a 6inch LONG port on each side of the box.
