ANIMOSITY Posted May 11, 2011 Report Share Posted May 11, 2011 I know that when building boxes, you'd want to pre-drill holes when inserting a screw parallel with the wood to prevent the mdf from splitting. I wasn't sure if this would matter when inserting screws perpendicular with the box while loading the subwoofer though. Should I be pre-drilling the holes when loading my sub into this new box?
