My wall Inside Out (don't mind that I had it wired wrong lol) dont do this for a couple reasons... one if the wires come loose (unlikely) you have to pull the sub otu to fix.. another thing.. if they come loose and touch (unlikely) you could end up with a fire... and another thing its easy for the bolts to come loose on the inside when you are loosening them up on the outside...unlikely but easily avoidable.. run your wires strait off the subs out of the box then to bolts or a buss bar like this... that can be bought at home depot for a few bucks... that way when a wire comes loose all you need is a screwdriver and your not yanking subs out... The first nut is securing the bolt in place on the wood, I would use a locking nut. 3. When adding speaker wire to the outside you just loosen the outside nut and tighten it to secure the wire from box to amplifier... Same idea as yours but maybe more secure with yours... at least no need to remove the subwoofer... How do you seal off the box? Silicon caulk? That bus bar thing seems to complicated... Especially for two subs And I'd think a ring terminal is more secure than a spade terminal... Or no terminal at all. What if I need to connect more then one wire together... Don't see how that's possible with this bus bar thing.
