MECA Debuting New Event "Ground Pounders Challenge" May 21st in Fayetteville, TN

Just wanted to let everyone know that MECA is going to be hosting a new event that Chris Gregory from Wall Streets Finest came up with named "Ground Pounders Challenge" in Fayetteville, TN on May 21st where Chris Gregory (Van with 12 Incriminator Audio 12's and is sick as hell!) and I (6 15's in a clamshell) will be going head to head in this new format!

This is something that is more tuned for actual ground pounders and not burp boxes!

As of now the format will be something like a Bass Race where you will go head to head against someone with the following rules;

Classes will be classified by number of subs, not power or fusing, classes so far are: 1-2 subs, 2-4 subs and 5+ subs.

Must have plainly audible mids and highs

Must be able drive the vehicle

Doors shut, windows open

Play music for 1 minute

The TL will be set to real time and the first seconds score and last seconds score will be averaged

(The rules will probably change to fine tune the format)

That is a lot of cone area and power that I am going against... But, hey, it's the fun of it... I am used to losing, I lost to JP in Slamming n Jammin by .3 db... (I had him beat on day one, but he reran the next day and I didnt know they were allowing reruns...)

That was exactly what I was thinking... I was expecting a rolling average like Drive By... Hopefully they will change that...

You have to have at least one open and then others or which 1 at your discression...
