I Know mids and highs arnt made for bass, but they shouldn't sound like shit! My sister has the same ones I installed in her car and hers hits ALOT harder. Would this just be because of my shitty head unit? or that the hell is going on lol? Thanks! Sammitch0 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 Agreed good HU's put out more RMS than shitties and also allow HPF most the time and some type of EQ if you're using a bare minimum xplod or pioneer or something ya I can see why. I recommend the Pioneer DEH4200UB for $160 at walmart (yes walmart) does ipod etc has 3 4v preouts.
