It has different specs for my Polk Audio 10" db104 than what the Polk Audio site shows for the same identical sub so I used theirs and came up with this. I am gonna gonna go with this if Ray or anyone of the others thinks it looks good enough to go with. BassBox Pro has my sub Fs as 26.7 but Polk's aite says it is 37, also BassBox Pro's driver database claims that this subs Xmax is 8.71mm when the Polk site say's it is 7.5mm, and a few other things that made a difference as far as tuning back to 32Hz as recommended and trying to stick with the suggested port diameter but yet try to keep the back end of the port on the inside of the box does not get to close to the back wall. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks again for all the advice (and criticisim,,,lol). I used 220 watts as the input power. hawkei67 Posted May 23, 2011 Author Report Posted May 23, 2011 Aw man, I don't know what happened but every since I shut my BassBox Pro program down last night after getting what I thought to be a pretty good design with the help from you all. I opened up BassBox Pro, entered my TS/Parameters from the Polk site for my sub which is a db104 10" 4 Ohm Polk Audio sub did the same size vented box of 1.57cu. ft., tuning the box to 36Hz using the same diameter and length of port from last night and now all the graphs are completely screwed (I mean, no gain whatsoever) and cannot get it to tune to 36Hz or 32Hz without either the F3 being in the HF range or F3 being empty. I even tried using BassBox Pros TS loaded from it's driver database for this specific sub and everything goes back to normal but everything goes haywire once I input Polks TS parameters from their site, but it didn't last night as you can see from post #36 of mine. I was gonna go ahead and printout my cut sheet so I could go get the MDF and get it cut but now I don't know what to do. What do I do now? Who's TS should I believe (Polks or BassBox Pros)?
