So is that like the remote for the headunit? Dj_Scarface Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 On my old skool pioneer avh-p6500dvd that black thing is a fuse & that red wire gets hook to a 12v ignition from the key. so in newer cars when you turn the car off & turn the key back it let the radio come on... That's just mine I'll see if it's the same for you. Its hooked upp too my traction control switch, my emergency blinker switch and my passenger airbag switch. All those are connected together and the red wire is connectted to a yellow one comin out of those.
