I know everyone has their different views on woofer break in, but for those of you who do it, I would like to know. I was thinking set the gain where I'm going to have it after they're broken in, and just be easy on the remote gain control. The amp will be a aq1200d at 1 ohm. Also, what is a good break in period? Honestly if your really want to loosen up the suspension and make sure glue holds, just play it at half the volume you'd normally play at for a half hour or so. Just gives it a chance to breathe for a bit. Is it necessary? No. Will it maybe make you feel better? Probably. Or just give them 3x their rms rating right off the back.
