hdorre
I feel like these are directed towards me, so I guess ill reply to them. If your post wasn't directed towards me, then I sincerely apologize. People who Google things, read from others, are told by others and think they're professionals. Then go online and make fun of the other uneducated people who they themselves were a part of just 5 minutes ago. Yes, I get most of my information from reading online (mostly here) and by asking questions. I use that info to help others. How often am I wrong though? I have never considered myself a professional. Do I think I'm educated? Yes...but far from a pro. I obviously don't even have much experience. 2 car installs..come on now... People on this forum that never stripped a wire or driven a car but acts like they know everything about car audio. I have stripped wire. I've done 2 car installations (HU, sub amp, a custom box, and coaxials). I've also done like 6 home audio installations (between my parents' houses). I'm not sure if I should publicly announce this, but I've driven several times too. Of course they were under parental supervision. How do I act like I know everything? Is it because I have lots of posts? Many questions are just asked different ways in different threads. I just wind up repeating myself a lot in different ways. Once again, I'm sorry if you weren't referring to me. Freshman6969
Hackassed installs from previous car owner dont get me started on this, my friends vdub is a mess because of that, the remote has 12v running though it, forcing me to wire a switch into it to shut the damn amp off.... anyways, not having a h/o and playing white girl c&s and having my amp go into protect shop owners, because turning the low pass filter to 100hz causing the subs to play music insted of lows sloves all problems right....(not mine, my friends who i couldent figure out for the life of me why the amp wasent powering the subs correctly..) bass boost on the amp clipping not enough room never being loud enough MONEY being poor being even more poor putting up 145's when you do 148's -.- people in my school who claim there shit hits harder then mine, until i play full tilt dumb ass fucking people how steves distortion tester is still not out ! air leaks on a box not having a rear veiw window shopping on here and online elsewhere and drooling Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! bluelceii
Also hate when some ridiculous build with massive cone area is doing say, mid to high 50's on music. Then some ass clown comes in and says that they aren't that impressed because they've seen an 8, or 10, or a couple of 12's do the same score, and think that its the same thing. I guess you hate me... but in my defense, I say this because there's a retard that says it can ONLY be done with an @$$ load of woofers and power... But I've never been unimpressed on a massive system as long as it's done right and looks good.
