ChevyBoy Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 what exactly does the big 3 consist of? there are so many sites that say different things. i kno one definite one is alt to battery. im unsure of the grounds though. ive heard, battery to chassis/frame, block to chassis/frame, battery to alt. which is it for sure? ChevyBoy Posted October 18, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 i was lookin for that damn link. thanks. it says to connect a wire from alt to ur chassis or ur block to ur chassis. mine right now it connected battery to block and battery to alt bolt. what to do? RichardXTC Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 IN THAT link it says that the 1st wire is the alt to the battery positive then the 2nd is the battery negative to the chassis then the 3rd is the alt to the block. cause the alt is mounted on the block and there should be a wire from the alt to a mounting piece on the block. well thats from wat i can gather.
