I was just talking to my friend, and he said people actually take the part (that broke off) off on purpose saying it gives better throttle response. I am just going to drive it as is for a few days and see whether it works out ok or not. Either way I still dont have the money to buy 2 pairs of subs. that is almost 1000 dollars for the subs alone, and I dont have that money. I am just going to build a better box for 2-15's until I stumble upon some more money. NOt the butterfly, by a diffuser riveted on the back of it. it started breaking off, and is would push against the side of my intake and cause my engine to rev itself to like 3 grand and not come down. I took it to a shop and the guy ripped it off for me. It is running fine, si I will just keep on keeping on...but still no wall build though. It is literally falling apart, like it has been from the beginning. Since I had the old one out I decided to take it apart and find out what exactly was fucked up. Here is the problem. Can you guess why it decided not to play anymore? And here is the motor and basket. A little clean up and it would be ready for a recone, if only MA did recones. Does anyone know of a recone kit I could use on this? I know the basket is TC sounds, but I dont think a TC sounds recone would work.
