A Little Problem

Recommended Posts

I was driving around slam fest today jamming my stereo, and it was playing fine, and all of a sudden something happened. I dont know what happened (right now) and my subs wont play low frequencies. I was playing hypnotized slowed down, and it would only play the higher pitched note. The subs are still moving freely, and the higher pitched bass sound perfect, but anything low is pretty much silent. I am way too pissed off to even walk out and look at my car right now, but I was wondering if anybody might have some idea whether it is my box falling apart again, or my subs or amps fucking up.

Ok. after some time cooling down I am hoping to pull the sub out tomorrow after class, and see what the problem is. I am about 82.47% sure that it is the box that is messed up. The subs are still kicking ass on the higher notes, and that also kinda rules out the amps being messed up as well, but I will still check out everything out with a dmm tomorrow. If the box is fucked up I will probably take it out and chuck it in a dumpster, and just run 1 15 in a sealed box until winter break from school.

well, I took the subs out today, and the box was fine. the problem is that my driver side sub is blown...I guess playing it all out for 20 minutes at a time was a little too much to ask of the ol' MA's. I guess I will have to buy some more now. Damn this sucks, now I can't build my wall over chritmas break.

so why cant you build the wall?

I cant afford to buy the new subs and the materials to build the wall, plus now its looking like a new throttle body, so i am not even sure about getting 2 more subs.

its all about the $$$

sry to hear it bro, but move on, UPGRADE!!!!

Thanks man. I hoping one of my buddies can come off one for me at a slight discount.
