Dstack42 Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Im kinda new to car audio and am trying to find out what battery I can use for my car audio setup.I currently have a 98 Cavalier with the big 3 and a 160amp alternator.I will be running a Alpine mrp m1000 amp that will be powering a Rockford t2 15 d4. I was looking at the Shuriken sk-bt20 which is 20AH and 850CA will it be sufficient? I used the Maxxsonics battery tutorial and thought this might satisfy my needs. Could you guys help me out?

D5100 would surpass those 2 batteries on it's own... with that alternator... But we all know things are not perfect, so if you can afford it and it's not a HUUUUGE jump then go for the bigger battery.. Rebuild Log with the SMD CURRENT..
