If you wanted a performance vehicle, you should have gotten a performance vehicle. Any of the parts you may find may just have to be customized to work with your vehicle, and who can you blame? You bought a non-performance vehicle with no demand for peformance parts. Did you truly expect companies to shell out money to test, test, and then sell products so that one or two people around the country can supe up their escort? Not withstanding, I am curious what you even mean by rebuilt...as in...you had to change the seals and gaskets? Because I am almost sure you have not actually "rebuilt" the engine the way gear heads mean it... That being said, what performance parts are you looking for...intakes? exhaust systems? Second, by rebuilt I mean all new spark plugs, pistons, wires, everything apparently. That's all I've ever been told. I'm just relaying it the way I was told.
