I may get a new deka battery. I dont know what size yet i guess whatever is the biggest size that can go into a 97 ford explorer. I dont know that was a stupid question i guess it depends on the Amp hours 2. Also so many people have me so confused about fusing. I thought i had it. I was told by multiple people to fuse the inline fuse holder with at least 150 amp using this wire.http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX4BL Which is the capable load. But then i got another person telling me to fuse it with a 100 amp fuse. The amp will be an AQ1200 with i believe 3 40 amp fuses on the amp = 120 So what size fuse do i use? Sorry for the post count. Alex K Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 a bigger battery will obviously help. If you're having major voltage drop then it'll catch up to you and you'll still have that problem. I forget what the max amps are to 4 gauge. Just use the biggest for the 4 gauge. I think 150 is correct. 2006 Nissan Z Track.
