spldreams Posted June 1, 2011 Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 i just bought this clarion eqs746 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6655_Clarion-EQS746.html i know how to wire it up but the things i dont understand are the volume knob on the front and the gain knob on the back. can some one explain how to set this up properly. i know this is a pretty popular piece of equipment so im sure someone can help me figure it out as im sure its probably pretty simple. raolito1980 Posted June 1, 2011 Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 I have this and the truth I have never messed with the gain. The only gain I see is for the aux gain. ANd when I use my phone with this the aux really sounds okay. I just recently started using my Aux. Oh and the Volume knob is your master knob. spldreams Posted June 1, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 ok thanks for the input. and i will have to adjust my gains on my amps to compensate that they are set to my head units 2 volt pre amps and this can put out up to 7 volts?
