TheyDontWantMusic
are you suggesting this will raise my peak frequency?
TheyDontWantMusic
tomorrow (as I live in Australia, and its currently 10:50pm) I plan to put the batteries on charge while I'm duct taping the port (it may gain 0.1dB by doing this, it might gain nothing) and burp it (should do 147.3, maybe a little more) then, I'll leave the charger on while I pull the box back apart so I can stuff the sealed chamber, put it all back together, and burp it again. if it drops, I would have wasted over an hour pulling it apart twice... fecupe2001
You know how this game is, not always you gain by doing something, if you are gonna spend only an hour and a few bucks then i think it worths trying it, i did a couple of things to a box the other day, wasted 3 hours of my time and i only gained 0.03 dbs lol I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. I added one on the angle just below the port, and another at the back edge of the box, above the woofers.
TheyDontWantMusic
are you suggesting the peak frequency may move? the issue I have, is that my sealed chamber currently has a resonant frequency of like 65Hz... raising that is the last thing I want to do, seeing as its already higher than the ported chamber. Originally this setup was done simply to beat 143.5dB.... but now its gotten louder, while still being musical, I'd planned to beat 147dB, and then replace the two ReSponse 1500watt amps, with my two DD Z1's...
