MickyMcD
Tuning to the 20-29hz range will offer an unparallelled bass response, however you will experience a significant loss in sensitivity. Also, tuning a box for a woofer that cannot safely operate at those frequencies will have a detrimental effect on the woofer. Most likely, you will destroy the woofer. If you are set on using those Audiobahn's, I would tune to 30hz exact. The woofers are not reccommended for use below 28hz. Effeciency is not too bad at 91db/w/m, however I believe that there are better choices for your system in the market. You need a high effeciency woofer with moderate xmax, low to moderate power handling and large piston area. May I suggest the brand P.Audio? They manufacture excellent loudspeakers well suited to your application. What ever path you take, I wish you the best of luck with your build. MickyMcD
Tang Band woofers would be an excellent choice in this situation. May I reccommend the neodymium range of woofers? fourlug
I just finished building a 6th order series tuned enclosure for a yamaha 6" sub off 20 watts. Threw it in a couple vehicle's and this thing wangs. It was louder (only a little) than a 10" poineer off 100 watts in a 4th order! Home audio guys get pretty crazy into enclosure's, take a look around

There are alot of home audio sites that get in depth with horns, bp, etc. You could check out http://www.diysubwoofers.org or http://melhuish.org/audio/index.html <--- these are two very good websites.
