skittlesRgood
is that 1500 a zenon board? looks just like the sundown saz1500 on the outside, with another heat sink obviously. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. skittlesRgood
the brand wasnt my question. there are several build houses and companies just buy amps from them and put their names on them. that amp looks just like the sundown saz1500 and that amp is made by zenon (build house). i was just asking if that was the same one. but im guessing you dont know. Mrop
updates. subwoofer is hooked in Free-Aired and i am playing MaxBoom -song trough it with 60-100W. i let it break in before the enclosure is ready. i've ordered now all materials to enclosure, it will be 203litres, 47cm x 55cm x 102cm. it will be as huge as possible. FRIKN HUGE! well for my opinnion, bigest box i've ever made. also i got high hopes for the DD-1. i'm gonna pre-order it if i can get a discount for the shipping costs. $139 for the device + $116 shipping. a WHOOPTIDO $250 for my DD-1. i got told in SMD's Facebook -page that "stay tuned for international distributors" BUT CANT WAIT www.peranurkka.net
Mrop
updates! took me way too long to finish this. however it is not finished build yet. still alot to do, just missing motivation. 1" Birch Plywood pre-cutted first i build the box whitout glue and screws to check if everything is the right size. couple of holes ans screws so it will be stabile holes to the backside screw silicon or "no-nails" -glues. good old Polyurethane woodglue easy to apply, sticks well 8" port next to the box... it... is... HUGE then some 45 degree corners with polyester filler sub hole fits! the installing holes are in the straight line, but apparently the cone is not perfectly centered so the text is not horixontal port hole i sawed some fiberglass off the port so i can get it in and out from the porthole. some bracings to the inside fiberglassed! looking nice! some fiberglass to the bottom also. like so ofcourse i ran out of filler, but it came out pretty good, i gotta sand it down and put another smooth layer of filler to finish it off at this point i had like 45mins to do before i had to leave to a party eith my sub, so i painted it pretty damn quickly i used Hammerlite, port got some paint also, but it didn't ended well. sub into the car. it was pretty damn heavy! first burb and port got loose port is now hooked in with 2 screws, and duct-tape. it is ugle as hell, but loud! this was finished a week ago, so since then i have shortened the port 16cm so the box should be tunes somewhere 33Hz. however i need it to be tuned up to 37Hz so i gotta build a custom port for it! nice! i got a list what to do and i've already ordered a dB-meter so i can measure how much SPL this beast gives. also staying tuned for DD-1 europe distributer as shipping for the device is $116, and that is way too much. www.peranurkka.net
