18abVFL Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 I'm looking to tune down my set up. I'm running 2 type-r's on an American Bass 80.1, box is 4 cubes at 35hz. I'd like to make a box with a center port, but WITHOUT separated chambers. When I calculate it on torres, the port is supposed to be around 26" long, and it calls for a "port bend". How would I go about bending an un-separated center port? 1999 Monte Carlo Sony CDX-GT34w 2 Alpine Type R 12"s in 4 cubes tuned to 35hz American Bass VFL 80.1 amp @ 1 ohm (probably doing between 1000 and 1300rms) Stock alt, Stock batt, Big 3 Upgrade Boston s55- 5 1/4s (doors) Boston s95- 6x9s (rear deck)
